Selectivity

Everybody knows that is you want to go to University you can do batxellerat and then do the selectivity: The selectivity are exams that you do about everything that you have learnt during your school life.

In my opinion the selectivity is so difficult because you have three days to show wht you have studied all your life especially during the two years of batxillerat. You have studied a lot of information but then you only do one exam.  Doing only one exam is so bad because maybe you study one subject a lot and only a little another subject but in the exam maybe they ask you about the subject that you haven't studied because perhaps it was difficult or you didn't like it so much.

I also thinkthat everybody has some bad days and maybe when you go to do the exam youbecome very nervious and then you can't remember enything, you can be very nervious and cad stay in standby. Another bad thing is that the selectivity lasts three days but one faftes the other and it is difficut to prepare all the subjects.

In conclusion I think that it would be a good idea to do the exams separatly with more time setween each one, in this way all the students could prepare the exams better.

9th May The day of Victory!

The last 9th May in Ukraina and in all old Soviet Union, the people celebrated the victory of the Second World War. This day is so importantfor everybody. Everyone goes to see the shows. The soldirs put on all their medals on the uniforms and go around the streets to greet everybody. Some soldiers explain some anecdotes or some experiences. The president makes a speech and thanks all the grandfathers for potecting the country.


In my opinion this day is so important for people who lived during the war becausewith this day all the people show their thanks for fighting in the war. I think that with this day the exsoldiers feel important. 
I also think that for some people this day is also sad because they remenber their families of friends who died in the war.

In conclusion I think that this festival is very important for all the world because all the world took part in this war.

Human rights

1-What are human rights?
In my opinion human rights are standards fot all humans. All humans are equal so all humans deserve the same treatment . Human rihts jutge everybody the same.

2- Why were they created?
In my opinion human raghts were created to protect the weakest people.

3- How many human riths are there?
I think taht there are a lot of humans rights the most important ares are civil and polutical rights and here we can see rights to life, to personal security, to equality before the law, to freesom of thought, freedom of expression and opinion, to notionality...
In economic rights we can see rightd to the property and to economical security.
Social rights it is to food, to work, to social security, to health, to housing and to educationright...

4- Which human right were you not familiar with?
In cultural right there is one that says " right to enjoy the bebefits of science". In my opinion this right is stupid because if the science improve it is fot the humans. Maybe is the scientists discover the solution for cancer I'm sure that every body will enjoy it.

In my opinion this video is very beautifull and emotional. In this video we can see hiw a tribe of the jungle meet a white man for the first time. I don't know if this video is true or it is a representation but for me this video is very impressive bacause you can see the reaction of the blak man whenhe ses a white man. Ii very beautifull because the people of the jungle know that they are similar but is seems strange for them to see a person af a different colour.
I think that thet if we see an alten we would also have the sema face. I think that it is good to share our objects with another culture like the mans in the video do.

Finalli I think that the reporter have been lucky because they have meet a peaceful tribe because also there tribes who eat people and it is very dangerous for the tourists.

University Resistration is more expensive every day

Next year  I would like to do to College, but the next year the registration will become more expensive.

For a lot of families it is a problem but in can be solved however maybe for other the problem is very big problem and I'm sure that the next year fewer people will go to College because it is not anly the registration, also we have to pay ther rent of the apartament, food and other expenses if you far away. Tehre are people who pay the journey every day is you prefer ti live in your hause. These two option are a problem for the parents, but there are students whot work to pay all these things.

The Government says that the next years the universaties will geve more scholarships but it isn't the solution because some students will have scholarships and the others?

I think that this new law is very stupid because is better to leave things as thsey are but now it is too late.

Alaska and Mario

In my opinion nowadays the TV programmes are very bad, but on MTV there is a new reality show which is abaut the life if Alaska And Mario, in my opinion this reality is very different because you can see what the life of two famous people. Is like also it is very fanny because these characters are extravagant. They have arguments but there they feel in love another way. They say whot they think. You can see their routine, their travels, they ideas...

My fauvourite chapter it is when they travel to Los Angeles because Mario doesn't know hove to speak English but he does whot he can. These two people are very fanny and they seem good peaple. You have a good time if you watch this reality I recommend it

Credit Cards

Technology has improved a lot in allfields and also the economy. Credit cards now exist.

In the one hand, the credit card has a lot of advantages. You can buy whot you want if you don't have cash it is very confortable in this way you don't have to carry money in your wallet. Sometimes maybe people don't carry a lot of money in their wallet but with the credit card it isn't a problem. If you travel it is so confrtable to use a credit card and it safer because if you lose the credit card you can cancel it, but if you lose the wallet you lose the money.

On the other hand,there are two negative points. The first point is that if you don't control yourself you can have a lot of expenses at the end of month. There are people who buy whot they want but then they don't look at the price or maybe they buy a lot of things. Another negative point is the possibility of the theft or of losing the credit card because there are people who know whot to do to discover the password and then the thieves sped a lot of maney so you have to be careful.

In conclution I think that the credit card is very confortable but it is so dengerous if you don't control what you spend.

Consumerism

Nowadays we live in a consumist society. Everything depends on our economy.

In my opinion the consumerism starts with advertising. TV is so important to convince the society to consume. The function of advertising is very clear, on TV, radio, in magazines... we can see advertising everywhere.

Te principal strategy to sell the product. In the advertising you can see all the positive things of the products, in this way they make you belive that you need this product and thet they teach you some complements of the product and in the end you buy all the lot.

Christmas is the best time for thr consumerism.  People buy presents, buy food, every body is happy. there is more advertising... The counters of the stores are decorated. There are a lot of offers. The streets are also decorated and all these small detals make you happier and for this reason you buy more.

Nowadays a person who doesn’t have a mobile phone is a strange person. You can say that the mobile phone is part of our daily lives. We do not know how to live without the mobile phone.

On the one hand, the mobile phone is very practical, we can do a lot of things with it. The most important thing is the communication, then we have more aplications like internet, music, photos, games and much more. And these applications can be updated over time so we can do more things everyday.

On other hand, many scientists say that the mobile phons broadcast electromagnetic  waves and we can suffer cancer or other illnesses. What’s more, communication aerials also harm the environment harms the environment with the mobile phone's antenns.

In my opinion all the tecnologies are very important, but I also think that we are much dependent on that so sometimes we have to disconnect from the world and enjoy life

Nearly every town has a library. In Castelló d'Empúries the library is very large and modern. If the town has a library it is very important for this town. For example in my town there is a library and also there are schools and high schools, so there are students. If the town has a library it is very good for these students and for other people of town. In the library you can do a lot of things like read, do homework, do projects because there are a lot of thing that can help you like computers, bookd, dicctionaries... You can also rent films, books and magazines if you prefer read or wath films in your hause. Ther library also has internet so you can consult differents web pages. In Castelló d'Empúries's library there is a place for children where you find different books for children and films.


In my opinion to have a library in a town is very important because you have all the information that you need.

Online shopping

Nowadays online shopping is a very normal thing. A lot of people know about it. 

On the one hand, online shopping is very practical because you cn shop in your hause, you ca buy in a lot of stores like Zara, Mango, Stradivarius... and in a one day. A lot of basinesses have an option od shooping on internet. In my opinion it is very practucal and it's cheaper. 

On the other hand the size can be a problem because you can't try on the clothes that you buy. The clothes that you buy can also be torn or maybe you by one thing but then the shop geves you another article of clothing. This was of shoppong is so complicated because when you buy there can be a lot of arreor.

In conclusion I think that if you know how the shopping programmes work you can buy online but don't forget o checj whot you buy.

Places to visit

Places to visit

I know that everybody is a different, with different opiniond, tastes and with differents lifestyles.

I think that everyone thinks abouttheir perfec holidays so in this writing I willpropose some places to visit.

First we can visit the Fiji Islands a olaces to relax, white sand, transparent woter, coconut palm. You can sunbathe, do diving... In short this place is perfect to relax.

The second place we have is Okavago. In the Kalahari desert. It is an increible river, here we can see different fauna because the river starts  in a mountain and finishes a desert. People say that this river is a dream river because it is very difficult to imagine if you don't see it yourself.

In the third place we can visit the tipcal Janpanese hause Korakukan. This place is in Japan it is a typical Japanse  hause and also is a spa with monkeys. You can relax, sleep and see monkeys in the same place.

Finally we can visit Kaieteur  falls. Kaieteur falls are up ti five times hijher tahn the Niagrar falls so it is very intresting to see.

Adopt

Is adoption a good thing? Everybody knows that before adopting there is the abandoning of children. Everybody knows that there can be a lot os causes for abandoning  of children.

I think that the most important can be a young mother, maybe a girl gets pregnant and she doesn't tell  her parents enything so she has he baby and then  she abandons it. Another cause can be a poor family maybe they think that it is better that their children are adopted and in this way they think that the children will have a better life. Finally the last cause can be  that the family have problems with drugs. 

I know that there are a lot of people who don't want to abandon thair children but maybe they don't have anything for this baby, also there are people who abandon thier baby because they don't want problems and this is very cruel.

Nowaday there are a lot of centres where people help to these children. Moreover there are a lot of people who want to adopt a baby to help it. Also there are people who can't have children and tha possibility to adopt is like a present for them.

Everybody knows that there are a lot of centres to adopt and in a differents countries. These places are very different because there are  rich or poor countries. For exemple is Russia there are a lot of adoption centres but the goverment doesn't help these centres for this reason adopting in this country is very easy ans fast because the people who wok with these children want the best for them.

In my opinion  this topic is sad but the only thing we can do is help these places with some money.

The cold wave

At the moment in Europe ther is a cold wave to be exact the name of this wave is the siberian wave. The world become crazy firts the summer was longer and now ther temperatures have follen quickly. Even though in contries where winter is very cold nowadays the people are also suprised of these temperatures. For example in Ukraine, the temperature can be usually -12º but at the moment the temperature at the night can be -30º . To be cols in this country is normal so people are preparade for this condition, but this ware is different because it has been very strong and there are a lot of people who have died.
In Spain the cold wave is worse because for latin people the cold is very unplesent. These temperature are not normal in Spain. The arquitectre isn't praparated for this siation so maybe the water is hauses freezes. In the  contary in the mountain this situation is better because there is more snow  on the skislopes and people enjoy  themselves.

Carnival 2010!

This carnival was very different because usually all my friends and I always dress up together. For exemple, in carnival 2010 we was dessed upas painters and in 2011 as charleston.
But this year as I set before was different because his year all my were at university some in Girona and some in Barcelona so the organization was very complicated.
My best frend and I decidet that we would dress us as elown, anly girls. And we decidet to dress up as flamenco dancers. This facy dress was very beautifol. We wore a big flower in our hair and the typical earings. We also made up very colorfully and we painted a beauty spot on our face. We culed our hair, so we seemed a real flamenco dancers.
At night it was very funny because there are a lot of people in the party but we were the only flamenco dancers.
In my opinion the facy dress doesn't matter, the important is the company.

economical crisis. All young people go to university to improve their future, everybodu want to be somebody.important in this economical situation.

On the one hand, I think that it is agood option todo to university, I also want to go there. If you have a university courses you can have a good job in the future. If you go to university you can to meet a lot of people. You also become more responsable.

On the other hand, the university is very spensive and when you end your university courses then it is very difficult to find a job because everybody wants qualified people.

In my opinion to do to university is a good idea because you can improve your lifebecause if you have university courses you will be able to get a better job.

Sex before marriage has always been frowned upon in many cultures. Althouhg this is not important in our society. It is a different subject, specially for the church is totally against these relationsships.

Noe a days sex starts before than ten

year ago. The couples don't marry like before, they only live together.

do whot they want. Before the people were very traditional, and people worried about whot other people thought.

In my opinion we have to respect all decisions, because nowaday there are a lot of people from different religions or sociaties who live in the same country and they can do whot they want.

Nowadays the world isn't well organixed. In all place we can see very rich or very poor people ant with the crisis it is complicated to improve the families economy.

have alot of things like expensives cars, a big hause, designer clothes, who always go on hollidays...

I know that there are people who work hard to have all this, but others have a lot of money because they have been left it.

In my opinion some rich people don't know how to be rich people, and others yes, because they have everything but they also help a poor people and this is correct.

There are also poor people who live in the streer and they haven't got anything, they live with the help at others people. There are also people who don't have anything because they live in a poor county.

In my opinion we all human beingsand everybody should a second chance, so we must help.

This subject is very diffiicult to explain because everyone has a different opinion about is and I will give my opinion.

I think that all families are very differentd and they have different problems, so if one person isn't happy with their partner I think that it is better that they get a divorce because maybe then this person becomes happier and has a better life.

However I also think that if the couple have children it becames more difficult. In this situation the children aren't guilty of anything but I also know that they are the ones whosuffer more.

In conclution I think that everybody has to do things to be happy, and everybody knows whot they should do.
